P.Chokko
White Day
For 2019’s white day P.Chokko wanted to launch a special edition box of their premium chocolates. We were asked to come up with a packaging concept that communicated the brand’s values and that which makes this chocolatier special; the blend of the Korean and Venezuelan culture.
Since the product and it’s the origin and messaging where already Venezuelan, we decided to focus on building a Korean inspired packaging that embraced the Venezuelan flavor.
Korean Tradition
For the box’s structure, we were inspired by three traditional Korean objects
1. The Jiyeon: A bamboo framed kite controlled by winding and unwinding its string around a reel.
2. The Yut: A Korean board game that comes packed in a hexagonal wooden box.
3. The hanbok: A traditional Korean dress for semi-formal or formal attire during traditional occasions such as festivals, celebrations, and ceremonies.
